Time to Prune The Roses

This is my favorite rose, it’s Christian Dior Hybrid Tea.. No Kidding. I have had it for 4 years now.
This bud barley made it through the June Gloom. I peeled the brown spotted petals, and allowed the inner bud to blossom last weekend.

Wet Connecticut ~ Cold Maine

Sunday was productive.. I did my third turning of the soil with beautiful compost, planted 12 Tomatoes, 4 Peppers, 8 Pumpkins (from seed), and a batch of Basil and Chives. I also buried the heavy pavers so Janet does not have to walk in the soil to get a good harvest. The white rocks are polished by the waves of Massachusetts Bay.
